College

Second Mile College Ministry seeks to help college students see their lives through the lens of going the second mile (Matt. 5:41). Initially we want to engage students with the message of Jesus and challenge them to live out that message with commitment and passion.

There are over 100, 000 college students in Tucson who attend The University of Arizona and Pima Community College. Second Mile wants to have a vital presence on these campuses in order to have real-life, meaningful conversations about the gospel and about living a life of fulfilling service to Jesus.

We seek to integrate students into the body of Second Mile while at the same time recognizing the uniqueness of student life. We therefore aim to include college students in the community and mission of our community – students are a vital part of the life and ministries of Second Mile – while at the same time plugging students into missional communities seeking to amplify Jesus on their campuses.
