Son of God, Son of Man
Jesus is God. Jesus is human. Jesus is complex. To know him takes looking closely at his life, seeing the fusion of the divine and the mortal, his all-encompassing authority along with his very real humanity.
Jesus has given us an invitation. He welcomes us to embrace the truth of his deity and humanity. Accepting that invitation means learning from how he navigated this world while keeping his focus on God’s kingdom and mission. Will we embrace his life as one worthy to follow? Will joy be the result of Jesus-centered living?
Because Second Mile centers around who Jesus is, what he has done, and what he will do, the next 12 weeks will be a discussion and exploration of Jesus, Son of God, Son of Man.
